| The art and science of Yoga has
been transmitted for thousands of years through great
teachers, one to another. In this section are photos
of Swami Vishnu Devananda (shown teaching an asana
class in the early ’50s
before he came to America), and Swami Vishnu with
his teacher, Swami Sivananda, posing beside the Ganges
in Rishikesh, India. There are also photos of the
Sivananda Yoga Center in Downtown Fort Lauderdale
in the early ’70s, and the Yoga Warehouse as
it appeared before Hurricane Wilma (blue awning),
and as it appears today (yellow awning). |
